Just in case you needed further proof of the miracles of Mod Podge, we have a cool way to add a touch of your personality to your sunnies. With this technique you can add just about anything to the base of your glasses: glitter, patterned cardstock, ribbon, paint, you get the idea. Here’s how:
Materials:
- Mod Podge (I used high gloss, but any kind will work)
- Your choice of material for sprucing up (in this case glitter)
- Foam brush
First, brush a layer on mod podge over the sides of your glasses.
Next, apply your materials to the wet mod podge, and spread/smooth it out.
Run your finger along the edges to remove any excess mod podge.
Put a finishing coat of mod podge over top of your materials, and let dry completely. Voila!
